going backwards...

a few days before christmas, we had organized a special event with friends to go to Epcot at Disney World and have dinner at The Biergarten in Germany and to see the candlelight processional in the American Pavillion. what a fantastic time had by all.... the band at The Biergarten is always very entertaining and they do an extra special "kid time " during the holidays which the kids enjoyed very much ... check out the video .... i guess you could say "follow the leader"...

before we got to germany , my mother , rob and i got thirsty and stopped off at mexico for a beer ..... now , i have had a dos equis before , but what i never knew until talking to the server , was that in mexico ( so i am told ) they drink dos equis with the rim of the glass dipped in lime juice and salt and then they add salsa to the beer - mix it up and drink ....... well, we all added the lime and salt , but we did save the salsa idea for another time ......



so , after the dos equis and after germany, we all headed over to the american pavillion for the candlelight processional ..... rob, myself and the kids have done this twice before- a truly beautiful evening that definitly gets you in the christmas spirit !! a special treat for the evening was the reader - Edward James Olmos - he read with such heart ..... if you have never attended this event , i highly recommend it .... it usually runs for about 4 weeks before christmas and has about 6 or 8 celebrity readers throughout the month ......below is a picture when everyone was standing singing "Hallelujah"



it was a great afternoon and evening... but it had to come to an end .... well, jake didn't quite make it to the end ..... :)
